Mercedes-Benz Teases Autonomous Concept Bound for CES 2015

Along with this egg-shaped silhouette of a concept that will debut next week at CES 2015, Mercedes has claimed: "The future will be bolder than you've ever imagined." So what is it? A few months ago, our spy photographer sent in some snaps of a bizarre concept that pointed at a highly-aerodynamic EV. This is clearly the same car that's hiding in the dark in this solitary teaser image.

And given Mercedes plans to unveil the thing at the Consumer Electronics Show, you can be sure it will come with cutting-edge technology, most likely some fancy autonomous driving system. We are certainly intrigued and look forward to seeing what the Silver Star is playing at here.
