After a dodgy scanned image presumably nabbed from a brochure, we have some new pictures of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class leaked ahead of its online debut next week and live debut in Detroit next month. Finally we can see the evolutionary design and upscale touches including LED-infused headlights and beautifully sculpted body work in the mold of the new S-Class and E-Class, as well as a CLA-inspired rear end with twin exhaust pipes, and S-Class tailights.

Apart from the blue model, the other images appear to be of the C-Class wearing AMG Sport trim with bespoke interior and upgraded interior. The images emanate from Auto55, which claims the C-Class rides on a new platform with a 80 mm longer wheelbase than the outgoing model. Aluminum body panels will, however, ensure it is 100 kg lighter than its predecessor. It also claims that at launch, the C-Class will be offered with a 1.6-liter turbo-four with 157 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque; a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 186 hp and 221 lb-ft; and a 2.2-liter diesel with 170 hp and 295 lb-ft. Expect a full reveal after the weekend.
