Mercedes C-Class Looks Ready to Drop its Top

All-new C-Class Cabrio Should be with us this time next year.

Mercedes is continuing to expand its cabrio lineup, and plans to follow up the the E-Class convertible with two new drop tops in the form of the S-Class cabrio and this: the droptop C-Class. Spied undergoing testing, the prototype looks ready for the summer time – however don't expect to see it until summer 2015. The test mule has dropped its black body-cladding revealing the body panels that will almost certainly adorn the production model. The cabrio's fixed hard top will be replaced by a fabric roof mechanism on the production car.
