We still can't tell you the price, but thanks to Benz Report, the entire order guide for the 2015 Mercedes C-Class has been made available for your perusal. Engine options, as expected, include the 2.0-liter turbo-four in both rear- and all-wheel-drive setups, and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 available exclusively in all-wheel drive. Buyers will then have to decide on what package to get. The C300 is offered with the Sport and Luxury packages, the C400 with the Sport pack only.

This is priced at $2,500 and comes with 18-inch alloys, a sport suspension, more supportive seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. For $650, the Luxury pack adds 17-inch multi-spoke alloys, a softer suspension, a choice of wood trim and a traditional Mercedes hood ornament. Tick one of those boxes and it's on to deciding which of the ten color options to choose from. There are three wheel designs to consider, as well as an assortment of interior leather colors and trims. Finally, buyers will have to select from seven option packages, including the new Airmatic, Interior and Air Balance Packs, and items such as the Premium, Driver Assistance, Lighting, and Multimedia Packs carried over from last year.

So before you work out how much you think you need for the new C-Class check out the full list of options. A revised budget may be in order.
