BMW may have gone on a little tangent lately showcasing its xDrive traction system, but rival Mercedes-Benz has been in the game much longer. It's been building SUVs much longer than BMW, and its 4Matic technology has been available on some of its passenger cars for decades. So to demonstrate the benefits of all-wheel drive, Mercedes has put out this promo video. The clip shows the C350 Coupe pulling professional snowboarder Rob Kingwill through the snow in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The coupe, of course, is equipped with the German automaker's advanced 4Matic all-wheel drive system, helping it get through the wintery road conditions. Mercedes claims that the road used for Kingwill's little stunt may have been the world's longest halfpipe due to the fresh layer of snow. We say it's a clever marketing maneuver.
