Aggressive new look complements 507-hp V8.
Mode Carbon has introduced its latest aftermarket program for the Mercedes C63 AMG – a car the New York tuner is no stranger to – based on the Edition 507 model. Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the special edition was built to say goodbye to the previous-gen C63 AMG and comes with 507 hp. It’s 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 needs no additional upgrades, so the tuning house concentrated on adding aesthetic aggression.
That was achieved by fitting a new front lip, a carbon-fiber bootlid spoiler, carbon rear diffuser, and gloss-black mirror surrounds. Completing the new look is a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension that drops the ride height for a meaner stance and improved handling.
