Mercedes CLS Facelift Goes Winter Testing

Spy Shots

Refreshed model coming later this year.

Mercedes is working hard refreshing the CLS and from these latest spy shots we can see the four-door coupe will be getting redesigned front and rear bumpers, new side skirts and restyled headlights and taillights. The new headlights feature repositioned LED DRLs and LED main lamps with “Active Multibeam” that are checked 100 times a second to ensure the maximum amount of light is being delivered in line with the car’s surroundings.

Cabin shots reveal a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, a larger Command screen infotainment system, and newly positioned center stack controls. The current second-gen CLS debuted in 2010, so expect the mid-cycle refresh to arrive later this year.
