Both the four-door coupe and shooting brake body-styles benefit from Brabus' comprehensive aftermarket package.
Along with the 800-hp SL65 AMG Roadster and Startech Range Rover, Brabus will showcase its 730-hp CLS 63 AMG at the Geneva Motor Show this week. Dubbed the B63S, the new aftermarket program covers all the bases, from performance through an aero body kit to a new interior. The latest performance package for the CLS63 ups the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 from 518 hp and 516 lb-ft to 730 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque, translating to a 0-62 time of 3.8 seconds and 0-124 in just 10.8.
The four-door coupe variant of the CLS63 AMG has a top speed of 217 mph, while the heavier Shooting Brake tops out at 186 mph. The power package includes two special Brabus turbochargers with larger compressor unit, an additional water-to-air intercooler, a Brabus Gold Heat Reflection system for the intakes, a remapped ECU, and a stainless-steel exhaust with ceramic-coated 75mm-wide dual tailpipes and free-flow metal catalysts. A new aerodynamic carbon-fiber front spoiler fits both body styles, reducing lift on the front axle, while new fenders come with a backlit Brabus logo.
Completing the exterior mods is a set of 20-inch split-five-spoke Brabus Monoblock R Platinum Edition forged alloys. Inside, Brabus has upholstered the cabin in leather and Alcantara and added scuff plates with backlit Brabus logo, a 250mph speedometer, aluminum pedals and shift paddles, rear-seat tables attached to the back of the front seats, carbon-fiber inlays for the dash and center console, and a custom-tailored Brabus multimedia system that comes with Apple iPad integration.
