The Mercedes-Benz SL is all new, so naturally the automaker is going to go all-out promoting it. We saw the roadster in the metal at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and were impressed, to say the least. We thought it looked fine the way it was, but Mercedes apparently thought the way to show of its design was by covering it up in blue latex. To be fair this video was done for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Campaign Autumn/Winter 2016 titled “Obsession with an Icon.”
Translation: This ad isn’t meant to be understood by gearheads. That’s probably for the best as we doubt anyone will know just what the hell is going on here. Check out the video for yourself and let us know what you make of it.
