Mercedes Fan Video Asks: Would You Kill a Child to Save Millions of Lives?

Commercials

This video is shockingly controversial even by today's standards.

It's not every day you see something that makes you stop and think. This satirical mock commercial done by a Mercedes Benz fan is controversial enough to do just that. The MB fan created the piece to demonstrate Mercedes new technologies preventing bad things from happening. Taking things to the extreme, it satirically suggests the car and driver would kill a young Adolf Hitler in a hit and run.

Would you do the same if somehow you could go back in time? Mercedes Benz was quick to distance itself from the spoof ad, deeming it as "inappropriate." While we're no fans of the German tyrant, killing Hitler as a child seems a tad harsh. Altering the course of history can surely be done more humanely.
