Although it debuted at the LA Auto Show last November, Mercedes-Maybach previously only released European pricing for the S600 sedan. €187,840 is what Old World residents are being asked to pay for the first model of the new Mercedes-Maybach lineup. But don't think us New World residents are getting off easy. No siree. For a base price tag of $190,275 you could become the owner of this Rolls-Royce and Bentley fighting Benz. It's essentially an S-Class that's been stretched an additional 8-inches with a ton of uber luxury items.

Rear seat passengers are treated to reclining seats, plenty of hand-stitched leather, real wood and chrome trim, and even microphones for communication with the chauffeur. Owners don't want the S600 to drive, but to be driven in. Power comes from a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 with 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque. Is something like this worth the nearly $200k price tag? And once the many options and other custom work is added up, the price will spike well north of $200k. Donating a kidney wouldn't even cover the cost.
