The void left at the head of the Mercedes S-Class family by the defunct Maybach will soon be filled with the S-Class Pullman, which is going to arrive with bespoke styling and a suitable price tag of 250,000 Euros. Speaking with Autocar at Frankfurt, Daimler boss Dieter Zetsche said the Pullman "will occupy the 200 to 250,000 Euros position, and will not just be the ultimate expression of the S-class as a model, but of what Mercedes can offer as a brand."

The super-luxury flagship model will "look a lot like a Mercedes [and] an S-Class" but the range-topping Benz will have some standout, bespoke features when it arrives sometime in the next three years after the coupe and convertible hit showrooms.
