That's double the cost of a top-of-the-line Rolls-Royce.
Mercedes-Benz opted to shut down its Maybach division a few years back due to slow sales. The idea for the revived luxury brand was to turn it into an effective Rolls-Royce and Bentley fighter. It wasn't meant to be, so Mercedes has now opted for something different. This time around, it plans on turning its flagship S-Class into something even more exclusive. According to Bloomberg, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman will carry a price tag of about $1 million.
It will thus be the world's most expensive sedan when it goes on sale later this year. We previously reported that pricing was to be around $250k. Boy, were we wrong. So what does $1 million bucks get you? For starters, the S-Class Pullman will feature available armor plating, three rows of seats, and a partition window separating the chauffer from passengers. In fact, the four rear passenger seats will face each other. Other specific details still aren't known just yet, but there's no question the S-Class Pullman will come with just about every luxury feature you can imagine. Customers will more than likely be able to customize their cars even further.
