The previous generation Mercedes SLK55 AMG receives some styling enhancements and suspension upgrades.
An all-new Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG is already on sale, but that doesn't mean the previous generation should be completely written off. Presenting the R171 SLK55 AMG by MEC Design, which basically adds elements of the current Mercedes styling language and other enhanced design bits. The front end has been upgraded with MEC Design LED mirror covers, and the wheels have been given a cool finish with crimson red accents. There's also the German tuner's own Roof One Touch roof module that can control the power top while driving.
The standard 5.4-liter V8 with 360 horsepower remains unchanged, as does the seven-speed AMG-Speedshift gearbox. What has been upgraded is the car's suspension, as the tuner slightly lowered the ride height in order to help enhance the looks of the upgraded wheels. Officially pricing for the conversion kit has not been announced.
