Who needs a high-rise building anymore?
When you think of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, it's not exactly luxury that springs to mind. However, if you're a regular reader, you'll know that there are numerous aftermarket companies that will offer off-road packages, an interior like a hotel room, and bulletproof armor too. Inkas Armored, a company from Canada, is a prolific upgrader of all sorts of vehicles, including crazy Mercs. Now the company has turned its attention to a new concept: a luxury office on wheels. The cabin seats five in total, with the bulk occupying four gorgeously finished captain's chairs that even offer massaging functionality. The final occupant is seated in something even more special: if the entire van is to be considered a high-rise building, the fifth occupant sits in the corner office.
That's not an exaggeration either - there really is an L-shaped desk with a similarly exquisite roller chair. Naturally, there are various power outlets for laptops and so forth, while to 45-inch Smart TVs with smart connections are fitted to the walls. There's even an Intercom system between the driver and the "office", tri-zone climate control, and fridges. Other epic features include a biometric safe, an air purifier, CCTV, signal jammer systems, and more. For ultimate on-the-go protection, armor plating that can withstand serious firepower can also be added. No official measurements are given, but we suspect that a fully loaded model will weigh several tons.
Underneath, it's still just a Sprinter though. While that may sound a little demeaning at first, it's actually a good thing. The Sprinter is one of our favorite vans and with numerous advanced driver aids, this is a safe van in more ways than one. We imagine that this is not going to be a cheap vehicle, but Inkas says that its vehicles are fully customizable, so we suspect that each unit of this vehicle will be commissioned differently and thus carry different costs. Inkas calls this the VIP Mobile Office MB Sprinter. That's a lot of words and they mean a lot of money, but they refer to a vehicle with a lot of awesomeness.
