Mercedes unveils lineup ahead of next week's extravaganza.

Mercedes will be the leading marque at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, celebrating 120 years in motorsport. Formula One star Lewis Hamilton will join in on the celebrations by taking on the Goodwood hillclimb in his Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 car. The theme for the 21st running of the festival is ‘Addicted to Winning,’ and 2008 F1 champion Hamilton will be joined by 16-time gran prix winner Sir Stirling Moss, four-time IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti, and DTM legends Roland Asch and Bernd Scneider.

Iconic Silver Star machines scheduled to appear at the four-day event include a 1914 Grand Prix racing car, W 125 and W 165 Silver Arrows, a 1957 300 SLS, a 1981 500 SL rally car, 1994 Penske-Mercedes PC 23 IndyCar and a 1998 CLK-LM. The AMG Vision Gran Turismo will be on static display, while the Mercedes-Benz exhibition will offer visitors a trio of Oculus Rift experiences, including a 360-degree experience of the 1.16-mile hillclimb and drifting with Lewis Hamilton in an E 63 AMG S Wagon. The Goodwood FOS runs from June 26-29.
