Mercedes Teases AMG GT with Full-Size Sculpture

Flagship

Set to be unveiled in October.

Mercedes is trying hard to find new ways in which to tease its upcoming AMG GT flagship sports car, with its latest offering a full-size sculpture hinting at the car’s size and shape. Set to be one of the stars of this year’s Paris Motor Show, Mercedes says the AMG-GT will be one of the most beautiful cars it’s ever made, with power coming from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 510 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque.

After debuting in GT-S guise next March, a tamer variant in the form of a GT will come detuned to 462 hp. Mercedes says the AMG GT-S will sprint to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 mph.
