Mercedes Wagon Smokes it Black

Offbeat

Looking to have some fun in a family car? This Mercedes wagon will do it and burn some black smoke at the same time.

Sadly enough, wagons just aren’t very popular in the US these days. Blame crossovers and minivans. But for those who live in Europe, wagons are a common occurrence and luxury automakers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz have had a lot of success selling them. In fact, wagons are so well received across the pond that it’s not unusual to see them with a V8 or high-tech diesel packed under the hood. And yes, they can do awesome burnouts.

The guys at Black Smoke Racing did just that with a diesel Mercedes wagon and the following video shows the result. Puffing away on his cigarette all the while, the driver clearly has a thing for smoke in his lungs.
