If you think the current SL is a good-looking car then have a word with yourself. It's in desperate need of a facelift, and thankfully Mercedes is working hard on exactly that. From these spy shots we can see that the whole front end is getting an upgrade, with svelte headlights, a new front bumper, a more upright grille and new hood. Smaller changes are happening at the back, where we see a new bumper, exhaust tips and restyled taillights.

Our spy photographers also managed to shoot the interior, which is getting a new, bigger touchscreen display, a new steering wheel and other upgrades, the majority of which were covered up. Updates are also expected to the engines and transmission.
