Rumors of it being discontinued aside, the 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis is truly stuck in its 1990s shape and design that has made it popular among airport limo services and police departments. With only one trim level (LS) the 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis is still the same bulky, six-passenger sedan that seems to be available only via special order. If you want to save money get a pre-owned model since it'll have pretty much everything the 2010 has.
A positive with the Grand Marquis is its continuous straightforwardness and reliability, its cushy and roomy interior and massive trunk. The engine, however, still lacks the power that a V8 is supposed to. Unfortunately for Mercury the Grand Marquis has formidable competition from more up-to-date sedans like the Toyota Avalon and Hyundai Genesis.
