As tempting as it may be to start off an article like this with "only in Mexico…", we all know by now that there are lunatics just about everywhere. Still, this is what recently happened south of the border: a Dodge Durango driver, outraged by local students that had blocked a road during a demonstration, tried to circumvent the blockade by driving onto a sidewalk. When that failed, he decided that the best way to teach these kids a lesson would be to turn his SUV around and gun it into the crowd.

12 students were injured and the driver quickly escaped. Later, he was tracked down by police, and "after an exchange of shots", was arrested. Check out this insane footage from the demonstration:
