After an accident in Japan that what was really no more than an unfortunate incident of cresting a curb, this is arguably the first serious crash involving a McLaren P1 and it doesn't look pretty. The accident took place in Dallas, Texas, where the 27-year-old driver of the British exotic lost control on an apparent wet spot in the road and careered into a guardrail. The owner is said to have bought the supercar from Park Place Premier Collection just one day before the crash.

Needless to say the hybrid hypercar wasn't going slowly given the outcome of the wreckage. It also looks like the P1 may have rolled at some point. Hopefully, the wizards of Woking will be able to make things OK again. The driver and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
