MINI Countryman Teams Up With Romeo Ferraris

Romeo Ferraris teamed up with MINI to celebrate 150 years of Italian unity and created a specially tuned Countryman.

In honor of 150 years of Italian unity, Romeo Ferraris will put its styling touches to the MINI Countryman to give it a very distinct look. The exterior of the Romeo Ferraris Countryman features a blue matte paint along with black background headlights, a black grille, black side skirts, and various badges. The roof has been painted in the same color as the 500th Abarth Chrome Anniversary while the hood is decked in racing stripes.

Also included are custom mirror caps featuring the Italian flag that can be added upon request. It will be equipped with 19-inch OZ Racing II Ultralight alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Sport tires. The interior features white leather with contrasting ice blue stitching and blue piping. The trademark Romeo Ferraris logo is embroidered on the headrests and of course, the Italian flag is highlighted on the back. Almost makes you want to sit back and sip an espresso. Under the blue and white striped hood, the MINI Countryman (in Cooper S trim) will generate its power from a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection engine.

For the S trim only, a remapped ECU increases overall performance by 43hp and 65 lb-ft of torque. The Romeo Ferraris MINI Countryman is available with an adjustable suspension that can lower the height by 50mm and also features upgraded brakes from Brembo. Official pricing was not announced.
