We called it the Paceman Pickup for obvious reasons. Mini, however, have dubbed the one-off creation the Paceman Adventure concept. Based on the Cooper S Paceman (pre-facelift), it comes with a Jungle Green metallic body, a roof rack, and truck-like cargo bed. Without going into specifics, Mini says the concept was born of a "creative collaboration between young apprentices and their instructors."

It rides on a modified chassis for extra ground clearance, and comes with off-road tires and a snorkel enabling it tackle river crossings. Underhood, a 1.6-liter four-pot develops 184 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to Mini's all-wheel-drive system. As cool as this thing is, and despite Mini having a penchant for special editions, the car maker insists the Paceman Adventure is a "true one-off" and will not make production.
