Mini Rocketman Needs to be Made

Rendering

BMW just needs to find a partner to co-develop the platform.

Rendering artist Theophilus Chin thinks Mini has made the Cooper too big and is demanding the carmaker returns to its small-car roots and finally put the Rocketman into production. The concept debuted a few years ago, and while there’s been no word on a production variant since, the idea hasn’t been killed off completely. All that’s needed is a partnership with another carmaker to co-develop a new small platform. An alliance with Fiat was once touted, but that seems unlikely now the Italian carmaker has gotten into bed with Chrysler, but we still have hope.
