MINI modifications aren't a new trend, as the catchy little Cooper has become the canvas for many designers' artwork. Rolls-Royce has just taken their turn on the MINI, releasing a 2012 special edition at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The new MINI was inspired by RR's headquarters located at Goodwood, England. The limited edition Cooper features a metallic black exterior with an optional reef-blue metallic color scheme. The MINI sits on a set of trendy 17-inch alloy wheels.

The interior features a sports steering wheel, leather seating and lamb's-wool floor mats. A cashmere headliner gives the MINI some flair and everything is covered in a soft beige color giving it an added sense of Rolls-Royce elegance. The car is powered by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder motor originally engineered for the Cooper S and it is mated with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The MINI has an output of 181hp and can jump from 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds. Only 1,000 units are slated for production and 140 are scheduled to come to the U.S.

It is part of the new "MINI Yours" special edition range and will be released as a 2012 year model. Pricing is set for the MINI Rolls-Royce Edition at $52,000.
