Missed the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance? Check This Out

Sit back and enjoy these cars and the sound of their engines.

Last March was the 19th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, a celebration of some very rare and very expensive cars. This year also happens to be the 100th anniversary of Maserati and the 50th anniversary of McLaren. In other words, Amelia Island, Florida, was an ideal venue to partake in the celebrations. Unfortunately we couldn't attend, but Seattle-based filmmaker Justin Lapriore was on hand to capture some beautiful cars for his short film.

Called "A Certain Inertia," Lapriore shot other gems like a 1967 Ferrari 330 P3/4 along with a variety of Maseratis, Chrysler concepts, and other rare race and road cars. The film is about 20 minutes long, but it’s so worth your time.
