Mitsubishi Is Pretty Much Screwing All American Evo Fans

Be sure to send them a "thank you" card.

The end of the Mitsubishi Evo is near. There will be no replacement, and there’s nothing we can do to convince Mitsubishi otherwise. We previously reported that the Japanese brand will, at the very least, let their best model go to its death with at least a shred of dignity by offering 1,000 "Final Edition" examples. What will they feature? Various suspension improvements, 18-inch BBS wheels, unique roof colors, and Recaro bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with the steering wheel, shift knob, and hand brake.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four banger also receives sodium-filled exhaust vales in order to boost output, but Mitsubishi isn’t giving an exact number. Now, the big question is whether or not it’ll be offered in the US. Sadly it looks like this will be for the Japanese market only. Yep. Mitsubishi is screwing American Evo fans one final time. Thanks for that.
