Mitsubishi Releases 2022 Outlander Pricing And Trim Details

Pricing / Comments

A new best-seller awaits.

The all-new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander was revealed last month with its own very distinct styling despite its Nissan Rogue underpinnings. The new Outlander, like its predecessor, is a core model for the Japanese automaker in North America, and now full pricing and trim details have been announced. As previously confirmed, the 2022 Outlander ES will begin at $26,990, including the $1,195 destination fee.

For just $1,000 more, the ES trim with the Convenience Package can be yours and comes with attractive features like 20-inch alloy wheels and a two-year free trial of the Mitsubishi Connect with Safeguard and Remote Services mobile app. The Super All-Wheel Control AWD system costs an additional $2,000 for every trim. This means that for less than $30k buyers can get a nicely-equipped AWD crossover.

Moving up the ladder, the SE trim begins at $30,040 inclusive of destination and tacks on goodies like heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, wireless phone charging, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other items. The $32,340 SE with the Tech Package adds a 12.3-inch full LCD digital display, Bose premium sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

For a little more exclusivity, there's an SE Launch Edition for $32,185 which will be available in limited numbers packed with aesthetic elements like a chrome hood badge, ground logo, dynamic shield illumination, and a 3- and 6-month subscription for Amazon Echo Auto and Amazon Prime Music, respectively, tying in with Mitsubishi's team-up with Amazon for the Outlander's debut.

Continuing along here, there's the $33,140 SEL with leather seating, heated rear seats, and tri-zone automatic climate control. It too has a Launch Edition that's AWD-only and has a 10.8-inch head-up display and carries a price of $37,535. Lastly, a fully-loaded SEL with the Touring Package will set buyers back at least $35,840. This has everything from the regular SEL trim and adds semi-aniline leather seats and rear door pull-up sunshades.

Chances are a majority of Outlander customers will prefer the ES and SE trims, especially the latter and its Tech Pack. Expect to see the 2022 Outlander arrive in dealerships across the country beginning next month.
