The Haas F1 Team debuted the livery it will use in the 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, along with its new sponsorship. Now called the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, the only American competitor on the grid now has an American sponsor after running the first few races without a sponsor during the 2022 season.

Finding a sponsor from the United States was likely easier now that the sport has more attention, thanks to the success of Drive To Survive on Netflix. The USA will also host three races in the 2023 season, more than any other country.

Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg will race these VF-23 cars, the latter taking over from Mick Schumacher, now a reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team.

Both cars wear a livery with a balanced blend of red, white, and black, the official colors for Haas and MoneyGram. Overall, this is an attractive race car.

The new MoneyGram branding is prominent on the engine cover and front wing. There are also a few Haas Automation logos on the side pods and rear wing, representing the CNC machine tool company founded by team owner Gene Haas. Other partners present on the livery include Hantec Markets, Palm Angels, OpenSea, Alpinestars, and Tricorp.

"I was very pleased to welcome MoneyGram as title partner for the 2023 season and beyond, and it's exciting to see our first livery unveiled together as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team," said Gene Haas, Chairman of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. "We head into a new season buoyed by some strong team performances last year and a return to points-paying finishes. The aim for the 2023 season is naturally to do that more consistently, and with Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg, I certainly believe we've got an experienced driver pairing more than capable of delivering those points on a Sunday."

"I obviously share everyone's enthusiasm around the livery unveil, not least as it's a checkpoint in the pre-season calendar, which means we're another step closer to doing the thing we actually want to be doing - and that's go racing," said Guenther Steiner, Team Principal of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. "I like the livery, it's undoubtedly a more elevated and modernized look which is fitting as we move into a new era alongside MoneyGram as our title partner. It's an exciting time of year for Formula 1, and it's great that we're first out the gate to showcase our livery, but our attention is firmly on getting the VF-23 on track and preparing for the season ahead."

Mercedes will reveal its livery on Valentine's day, and Red Bull is set to reveal its design in early February, meaning Haas is ahead of its F1 rivals, at least in the preseason. Haas will begin its shakedown for the VF-23 at Silverstone Circuit on Saturday, February 11.

Haas is currently the only American team on the F1 grid, but Andretti Global will join the grid with the help of GM, makers of the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
