Monster Chevy-Mustang Creation Is A Turbocharged Fox Running Eight-Second Quarter-Miles

Not bad for a junkyward swap.

Sporting a 5.3-liter Chevy engine, this Fox-body Stang cannot hide the fact it has something obscene lurking beneath the custom-built hood. Having strapped on a 88-mm turbocharger the Chevy-Stang hybrid has destroyed everything it's come up against, taking Street Racer Class victories at both SCT Nashville and SCT Indianapolis. You'll see it here in a number of quarter-mile runs, which it consistently completes in the high eights. Not bad for a junkyard swap.

The way it takes down a Nissan GT-R must have been especially painful for the Godzilla driver.
