Tuners rarely bother with the original Mini Cooper. Boosting its baby powerplant or restyling its classic body is barely worth the effort for most aftermarket outfits, and there's equally little demand for such work. And that's exactly why this Mini Monster Truck is so appealing. Currently listed on eBay, the Monster Mini Cooper consists of a shell and interior of a 1965 Austin Mini sitting on a Jeep Wrangler YJ frame with a six-inch lift kit, and powered by a new 5.7-liter V8 crate motor.

A selection of add-ons includes four-wheel disc brakes, 35-inch tires, and military whip antennas. The seller from Hampton, Georgia, claims this is a genuine one-off and is thus demanding $15,000 for the home restoration project. For the price of a new Chevy Sonic, would you take this Monster Mini instead?
