A good reason to stay a bit further back.
Quite a lot of monster truck events are held in arenas, and with good reason. The machines are huge, difficult to see out of and tend to have poor turning radiuses. So the crowds are kept back for their own safety. Except at this event at a town center in Holland, where a 1,500 horsepower monster truck that was attempting to turn around plowed right into a group of sorry onlookers. Three of them were killed and nearly two dozen were injured.
The event has been held without incident in years prior, but this tragedy could mean that it's never held again.
