Race cars, women, and parties - welcome to the 1970s world of James Hunt and Niki Lauda.

Ever since the "Senna" documentary was released in 2010, there's been a growing interest in the history of Formula 1 from Hollywood looking to cash in. And now award winning director Ron Howard is currently filming "Rush", which tells the story of the rivalry of former F1 drivers Niki Lauda and James Hunt during the 1970s. The stories of both Lauda and Hunt are perfect for the big screen and when put together, there's potential blockbuster gold.

For those who don't know, Lauda was nearly burned to death in a crash at the Nurburgring in 1976. Six weeks later, he was back on the track challenging Hunt for the world championship. Hunt, as many well know, was quite the ladies' man, always having a beautiful woman (or several) by his side. Howard has recently been tweeting several photos from the set of the film, showing plenty of 70s F1 cars, retro outfits, and plenty of groupies. No exact premiere date has been set for the film, but it's expected to be released sometime next year.
