But only if you live in a country that begins with the letter J and ends with "apan."

It has been over a year since the BMW 4 Series Coupe was launched. When this sleek machine first made its appearance, it was criticized for its odd front-end, and as if this was not enough, BMW went ahead and grafted the same front end onto the 4 Series Gran Coupe, a sort of crossover, fastback version of the standard coupe that offers more practicality. The Gran Coupe will now be made available in Japan for the first time, and to commemorate this auspicious occasion, BMW Japan has decided to release a special edition called "Edition Edge". This Japanese-only special edition is now available to order, and delivery is scheduled to begin later in November.

So what makes the Edition Edge so special? The BMW 420i Gran Coupe M Sport Edition Edge as it is officially known is limited to only 15 models and will be painted in Alpine White (8 units), and Brooklyn Gray (7 units). The exterior features M High Gloss Shadow Line Extended Content, an M rear spoiler, a rear laser light, and sun protection glass. This sleek package rolls on a set of attractive 19-inch M aerodynamic 860M Bicolor wheels wrapped in run-flat tires. Adaptive M suspension keeps things low and planted and a set of blue M Sport calipers hide behind those wheels. The interior gets special black M Performance seats with blue stitching, carbon-fiber trim pieces, a SensaTec dashboard, and M seatbelts. The storage compartment package is standard, as is the BMW head-up display. The 420i Edition Edge will set you back ¥ 7,660,000 ($67,280).
