Morpheus Sings Like Pavarotti in Kia Super Bowl Spot

Should you take the blue pill or the red pill?

Fans of The Matrix young enough to see the film in the cinema are now of a premium sedan buying age. Maybe that’s why Kia is trying to sell the K900 using Laurence Fishburne (aka Morpheus) from the hit flick. In “The Truth,” a couple at a valet stand is presented with a blue key and a red key (get it?). Choose blue and return “to the luxury they know.” Opt for the red key and “you’ll never look at luxury the same again” says Morpheus.

No surprises for guessing the red key fires up the K900. More of a shock is seeing Laurence Fishburne blast out Nessun Dorma as cars elevate and explode in the air, while spoons melt. If none of this makes sense, go rent the movie tonight and enjoy a bit of late-nineties culture.
