German tuners are powering up French hatchbacks.
MR Car Design has taken their talents to the Maserati Quattroporte, Ford Focus, Mercedes SL 65 AMG and even the big Volkswagen T5 van. The German tuners have now tried their hand at the Renault Clio RS and appear to have done a pretty good job. Under the hood, they have given the Clio RS a power boost up to the naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine. The motor puts out a respectable 220hp. The Clio RS seen in the photos shows the results of MR Car Design's work.
The hot hatch received a body kit with a fresh rear diffuser with an integrated dual exhaust. It sits on a set of 18-inch wheels and features a KW Variant 3-coilover suspension. MR Car Design's aftermarket program for the Renault Clio RS will be available soon. No pricing information has been released.
