MR Car Design Tunes VW T5

Volkswagen Europe

German tuner MR Car Design has recently developed a tuning package for the Volkswagen T5 Transporter van. Not typically thought of as a tuning vehicle, the company began with an ECU remap that increases power to 205 hp and 359 lb-ft of torque. The tuner hasn't confirmed which engine they worked on, but it appears they tuned the 2.0-liter TDI diesel that normally produces 177 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. They also lifted the V-max lock and added a new four-pipe sport exhaust system.

The aerodynamic came from Abt Sportsline and it features a front and rear spoiler, new grille, fog light inserts, and side skirts. The headlamps are also improved with LED daytime running lights. The air suspension can also be lowered up to 100mm and the wheels are redone in a black alloy. No official pricing was announced.
