Murcielago LP670-4 SV Acceleration on Public Road

Supercar

Just in case you forgot that the Murcielago really was badass.

Since the Murcielago was ten years old by the time it was replaced by the Aventador, and the engine was simply an updated version of a positively ancient design, it’s easy to think of the car’s performance as being as dated as the styling. But the LP670-4 SV, the final and most performance-oriented of Murcielagos, had the same 2.9-second 0-60 as the Aventador. The car is still a relevant high performance machine, even if it has been “replaced”.

So here is a video of the car accelerating off from a dead stop, complete with a bit of wheel spin. Hat tip to Drake M.
