The current generation of the Mustang was launched in 2005. For 2010, significant upgrades were done that have made it quite possibly the best Mustang ever. The big news is that the infamous 5.0 liter V8 has returned. For those who don't know, the 5.0 V8 was a famous engine the Mustang once had. Now that its back, many of the Mustang faithful are now sleeping peacefully.

The bottom line is that the 2011 Mustang GT, when compared to the 2010 model, has so many significant improvements that it hands down beats both the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Dodge Challenger SRT8. Besides the 5.0 V8, the best part is the price. A fully-loaded Mustang GT 5.0 has a base price of only $29,600. Adding more features will easily take the car into the $30,000 range, but with this power, the whole package is a bargain.
