A half dozen customer machines throw down on the dyno for American Muscle .
Getting just the right mix of power, durability and usability out of a car is a difficult enough task for a manufacturer to accomplish. But both the level of difficulty as well as the stakes increase when you're talking about a vehicle which is being modified by the very person who needs to rely on it for daily transportation. The folks at American put together a group of six customer-built Mustangs which are street driven to see what kind of power they put out. Special Thanks to Andrew!
The test really shows how real-world conditions can have a big effect on power numbers, not to mention the advantage of just starting out with the better car.
