As is tradition, the Super Bowl's MVP has been awarded with the Pete Rozelle Trophy - a Tiffany & Co. made silver trophy - and a new car. For Super Bowl XLVII, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco received the generous gift of a 2014 Corvette Stingray directly after the trophy celebrations. The honor of presenting the car went to Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a New Orleans dealership wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 that since returned to full strength standing as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.

"Banner Chevrolet and the entire city of New Orleans have been through so much since the storm, we felt this was a small gesture to bring the comeback story full circle," said Alan Batey, GM vice president of U.S. Sales, Service and Marketing. "With the Super Bowl in his backyard, we couldn't think of a better guy to have the honor of awarding the MVP with his Corvette Stingray." Previous Super Bowl MVP winners include Eli Manning who took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition last year and a Cadillac Escalade Hybird in 2008, and Aaron Rodgers who accepted a Camaro Convertible in 2011.
