Although now may not be the best time in the world to leave your home to go out and buy a new vehicle, automakers are still open for business, though many dealerships are not, at least not in the conventional sense. New vehicle home delivery, like groceries, is totally possible. It can even be done while maintaining social distance. With that in mind and if you're in the market for a new 2020 Ford F-150, then you should know the automaker has discounted nearly every variant this month by thousands of dollars.

For the month of April, there's a nationwide F-150 discount of $5,000 for select trims and model year. Furthermore, well-qualified buyers can further benefit from Ford's new Coronavirus pandemic relief program with up to six months of deferred payments on 2020 models. Leftover 2019 F-150s are also eligible along with interest-free financing. Typically, Ford's monthly savings programs differ by region, but not this time.

Here's a breakdown of April's discounts:

- 2019 F-150 XLT: $5,000 Customer Cash

- 2019 F-150 XL: $3,500 Customer Cash

- 2019 F-150 Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited: $2,250 Customer Cash

- Well-qualified buyers can get 0 percent APR for 84 months along with deferred payments for 3 months.

- 2020 F-150 XLT: $3,750 Customer Cash

If you haven't already noticed, then we'll state the unfortunate part: none of the above offers are for the F-150 Raptor or 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel models. Furthermore and as previously noted, these are not all of the F-150 discounts currently available.

Although these are nationwide offers, there could be additional discounts from dealerships. This is why it's important to shop around and compare prices. The nationwide deals, however, are set to expire on April 30.

There's also another critical element F-150 customers need to be aware of: the arrival of the all-new, fourteenth-generation F-150. Originally, that debut was scheduled to happen later this month, but new circumstances we all know about have delayed this. Ford has yet to announce a new reveal date but we expect it'll happen sometime this summer.
