Over 60 stories high, it will include a patented car elevator.
If you could choose any automaker to build a luxury apartment for you, which one would it be? Like us, you'd probably give mainstream brands like Ram, Hyundai, and Dodge a skip and go knocking on the veneered doors of Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, or Rolls-Royce.
One of these brands, Bentley, has announced that it will partner with Dezer Development in the building of exclusive Bentley residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Miami. For an automaker that puts expensive stone veneer and 3D interior wood panels in its cars, one can only imagine how ostentatious this luxury residential tower will be. Another premium brand, Porsche, previously announced its own massive Porsche Design Tower in Stuttgart, and there's already one of those in Miami.
The Miami development will be the first Bentley-branded residences in the world and will be designed by Sieger Suarez Architects, a reputable architectural firm. Bentley says that the residences will be designed with the needs of luxury car owners in mind. To that end, each residence will have its own in-unit garage that can accommodate multiple vehicles, along with a "patented car elevator." The Porsche Design Tower in Miami already has a cool car elevator with magnificent Miami views, so perhaps this was Bentley's inspiration. For customers fretting about where to comfortably park their Bentayga and Flying Spur, this seems to be the ideal solution.
Sustainable materials will be used in the construction of the residences, a move that is in tune with Bentley's recent decision to offer more eco-conscious materials in its cars.
The project is expected to spawn over 200 luxury apartments in a building that's over 60 stories high, with spectacular ocean views. Notable features include private balconies, outdoor showers, saunas, a gym, and even a whiskey bar. Landscaped communal gardens will help to create a sense of tranquility.
Gil Dezer, President of Dezer, was unsurprisingly upbeat about the collaboration. "Partnering with Bentley Motors, a true global luxury brand, and being able to create another first in the Miami marketplace is an extraordinary opportunity," he said.
Construction of the Bentley Residences is set to get underway in 2023 with a completion date scheduled for sometime in 2026.
