New BMW X6 M Looks Production Ready as Paris Debut Nears

Spy Shots

Hi-po crossover spied up close; unleashes 560-hp at the Ring.

BMW looks to be putting the finishing touches on the new X6M as these spy shots reveal a prototype sans the heavy camo, and a spy video shows the high-performance coupe-style crossover being flogged around the Nurburgring. Wearing an aerodynamic body kit, complete with new front bumper, side skirts and tailgate-mounted spoiler, the second-gen X6 M also boasts an M-specific grille, a quad exhaust system, unique alloys, upgraded brakes and ventilated front fenders.

Power will come from a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that is expected to deliver around 560 hp. BMW is tipped to unveil the new X6M at the Paris Motor Show in October.
