The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 may be struggling a little with the Ram 1500 pick-up outselling it recently, but it's still a seriously cool truck, especially in Z71 form. Still, there is always room for improvement, and Walkinshaw Performance from Australia has decided to step things up a notch for the Bowtied brute. The company has a history of fettling off-roaders and has upgraded the Silverado in ways that really alter its character. Two new 'Fury' packs are offered, giving customers the opportunity to decide just how heavily they would like their pick-ups modified. Regardless of which pack you opt for, the end result is nothing short of menacing.

Fury 1 features 18-inch Method wheels wrapped in Goodyear all-terrain rubber along with a two-inch lift kit. Under the body, a cat-back Walkinshaw Performance sports exhaust livens up the engine note for more presence while a special plaque, a shadow chrome tailgate badge, and various Fury decals finish off the look. In addition to the truck's modifications, customers also receive a special gift pack.

For Fury 2, those Method wheels are provided in a 20-inch flavor with 285/60 rubber, but those bigger rims are not just there for show. they also help the Silverado accommodate a six-piston brake upgrade up front with 15.75-inch rotors.

So what do these two kits cost? to be honest, we couldn't find any pricing information on the Walkinshaw Performance site but since the company is based in Australia with an outlet in the United Kingdom, it may be more trouble than its worth for most local Silverado owners. It's still cool to look at though, and with this company being around for over a hundred years, you know that the quality and workmanship on the parts it supplies will be excellent. Still, as aggressive as this looks, a name like Fury deserves a bit more power to take on the likes of the TRX and Raptor. Whaddya say Walkinshaw, a Silverado supercharger kit next?
