The final production version of the Chrysler-badged Delta hatch will be available strictly for the U.K.
The Chrysler Group has presented the final production version of the Chrysler-badged Delta hatch, which will go on sale shortly in the U.K. only. All Lancia vehicles there will be marketed under the Chrysler brand. The only changes made to the Delta is a new front grille and Chrysler badges inside and out. Available engine options will include a selection of two 1.4-liter units producing outputs of 120hp and 140hp, respectively. The other options will be a 1.6-liter churning 120hp and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel delivering 200hp.
This is just the beginning of Chrylser trying to create a larger presence in the U.K. With Ford and GM both much more established there, Chrysler needs a winner in order to make their existence known. However, we're not sure whether the Delta is the car that can make that happen.
