New Documentary Proves Canadians Love to Drift

Drifting

In case you were in any doubt.

What is about drifting that makes us all turn into little boys and girls? The art of driving a car sideways is practised by amateurs in the car parks of cities across the globe and by professionals in a range of sanctioned motorsports. There is a scene for every powerslide loving gearhead in almost every city in the world. You could probably tell a story about them all, but filmakers in Canada think that drift culture in Montreal was worth bringing to the big screen.

The full-length feature documentary is currently in the making with a release date yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, check out the latest trailer to get a taste for the amateur sideways racing scene in Quebec.
