New Dodge Ad Stars Both Hellcats, The Viper And Phil Collins

Commercials

It'll all make sense once you watch it.

It’s sometimes tough to speculate what automakers want to convey in commercials. With Dodge, that’s not usually the case. Its newest “Predators” ad makes it damn clear that the Hellcat (Charger and Challenger) and Viper are the baddest cars around. This is achieved by giving the three beasts the freedom to run through the streets of Miami at night. Of course the whole thing is set to Phil Collins 80's classic “In The Air Tonight.”

If the setting (Miami, as in “Miami Vice”), the song and the neon lights don’t make you think of the 80s then nothing will. The only thing that’s not dated here are these three power-packing symbols of modern American muscle.
