New Dual Tip Exhaust Now Available For Ford Maverick

Tuning / Comments

The dual tip option should add some grunt to the turbo-four.

Do you ever feel like every time you turn the ignition on your Ford Maverick, the sound from the exhaust system is just too tame? Well if you do, you are in luck because the pros at MRT have unveiled its Street Performance Dual Tip system for the gasoline turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder powertrain.

This development comes after it completed work on the Street and Sport exhaust for the 2020 model. This unit is available with polished stainless steel or Black Ops ceramic coated tips. The tuning firm also claims that the unit will give your Maverick a more aggressive exhaust sound over the stock system while also enhancing its appearance.

The noise from within the cabin is said to overpowering as well so that the experience of driving your Maverick is even more thrilling. The Street Performance Exhaust is handcrafted with premium corrosion-resistant 2.5-inch T304 stainless steel that is 100 percent made in the USA at its facility in Plymouth, Michigan. MRT also says it uses a straight-through design in the exhaust path for maximum performance.

The unit is priced at $759.99 and includes free shipping. No additional tuning is required and the installation time should take you about 60 minutes. The aforementioned Black Ops tips will add $100 to the price. The purchase also includes a limited lifetime warranty. To install the kit, you will need a 15 mm socket wrench and saw or exhaust pipe cutter handy but the kit does come with four half-inch exhaust clamps and an exhaust hanger.
